Both. Nellie is a highly versatile tool. You can generate any type of book in any genre, from non-fiction guides and textbooks to novels, biographies, or even comics. How you use the book is entirely up to you.

Nellie generates text from your prompt rather than filling in a fixed template. AI output can still resemble existing material. Review your manuscript before sharing or publishing; uniqueness is not guaranteed.

This feature is coming very soon. We are putting the final touches on a model that allows you to create a continuous series based on your previously generated books. For now, create the first book; when the feature is released, Nellie will be able to continue your series using your earlier volumes.

Yes, you are free to use the books you generate for commercial purposes, including selling them. We do not claim any ownership rights over the content you create.

The legal landscape for AI-generated content, including copyright and ownership, is still evolving and varies by country. While we grant you full rights from our side, you are responsible for understanding and complying with the laws in your jurisdiction.

Yes. We offer a free trial generation for all new users. The trial generation includes the complete outline for your book, the full first chapter, and a preview of the rest of the book. If you enjoy the preview and decide to subscribe, you can generate the remainder of your trial book at any time at no increased cost or sacrifice in quality.

Nellie generates cover art for your book, including title text. Review the result for spelling, legibility, and image details before using it; generated images can contain errors.

You can export book generations in any common format, including PDF, EPUB, Markdown, HTML, plain text, or JSON.

Credits are used for all types of book and audiobook generations within Nellie. You can purchase credits in two ways.

When you subscribe, you automatically receive a set amount of credits monthly, depending on your plan tier. Increasing plan tiers provide a better value of bonus credits per month. These monthly bonus credits reset every month.

Subscribers may also purchase one-time extra credits at any time. Credits purchased as credit packages never reset.

When you generate a book within Nellie, monthly bonus credits are always used first.

If you downgrade your subscription plan mid-cycle, you will not receive the new plan credit award until the beginning of the next cycle. If you upgrade mid-cycle, you will only receive a prorated amount of credits depending on your time remaining in the cycle. Please refer to the in-app upgrade notice and our Terms and Conditions for more information.
